A slow breakfast
Today was a great day. I made a wonderful breakfast and started this blog.
So, quick and to the point. My breakfast consisted of
alfalfa sprouts
scrambled eggs
fresh baked gluten-free buns
pickled cucumbers and bell peppers
I started by baking the buns from dough that I already had in the fridge. It is extremely useful to have dough in the fridge. For 3-4 days you can grab a few dough-balls ,throw them in the oven and have fresh buns for breakfast.
My cousin called today crying. She told me she has been experiencing severe gastrointestinal symptoms ,it has impacted her quality of life and the doctors haven’t found anything in the tests. I pointed her to some information resources about elimination diets and advised her to try to eat broth for a few days.
There is so much information on the internet, and yet people still struggle to find what they are looking for because while in hindsight everything is so clear, before you’ve made this journey, you don’t actually know where to go. Let’s hope this blog will offer a bit of guidance to those who need it.
